Scrapbooking!

I have been trying to get my scrap booking started again. The only page I had done was our ultrasound pictures. So I wanted to get busy on it. I'm only 3 years behind. I got everything out carried it upstairs to the computer room. When I started going through and doing a couple of pages I realized I didn't have any cute paper, stickers, or anything that I really liked. I went to Michael's and bought new stuff spending almost $50.00 Yikes! I can't believe how expensive it is. I have tons of little boys stuff because of Cory. Nothing little girl! My mom has this store at home called Craft 2000 they are so much cheaper on everything. I need a road trip soon. SO I can get more. But anyhow, I have finished about 10 pages (in a week : ( ). And I happy with them. I just get so frustrated because no one wants me until I go upstairs and start working on them. Then Katie Grace needs something or Chris needs something. I can't leave the door open because Katie Grace likes to write on everything and anything she can. Which I discovered on the back of the computer room door she has taken a Red Sharpie marker to. Dang it!! I wish I just had a few hours to myself lately. Not going to happen anytime soon.......... Not with the hubby on crutches for at least a month or longer. I wish my mommy lived close! I really don't mind helping my hubby or Katie Grace. Just needed to vent. thanks for listening!

Im Bored!!

SO! For the last two days we have had snow and ice. We went out both days and had so much fun. Yesterday we were able to sleigh ride on the ice. The kids were flying down this little hill beside our house. One time Katie Grace and Brianna went together. Brianna couldn't steer the sled so they were flying down the hill and hit the sliding board and went all the way up it. They were lying on their backs trying to get up with all their snow gear on. It was so funny I thought I was going to pee my pants. I laughed so hard my stomach was hurting. After that they were to scared to go together. Sara asked how do you stop a sled. And at the point Brianna was once again flying down the hill when she hit the fence I said to Sara that is how you stop a sled. lol! After sleigh riding we ordered pizza and went to Jen T's house. We were eating and Katie Grace was showing us how her daddy likes to show his muscles. She said her daddy wants to be a Superhero so bad!! So funny!! Daddy went back to work last night. He said he was just uncomfortable sitting all night. I would be hating life if it was me doing that. Sorry to bore you all. I m gotta lost what to right here. I will think of something good to write about soon.

Hubby is doing GREAT!

This morning we had to be at the hospita at 5:00 a.m. when we got there we saw noone not a nurse,doctor, securty guard, or cleaning person. We go to am admissions where we were told by the nurse in the doctors office and our paper work from the hospital. We sit there, sit there, and sit some more. Until, it's quarter til 7:00. Yes, I said 7:00. I finally find a security guard who gives me a phone and a number for assistants. The lady says how long have you been waiting. I tell her she says I m so sorry. She sees that he is scheduled for surgey.She calls them and they say they have been waiting on us. Okay, why the hell didn't you come looking for us. Oh yeah! Where we were told to go isn't open on Saturdays. So finally a nurse comes and calls someone else on the phone. Then she tells us to have a sit in the main lobby and someone will come and get you. Then 20 minutes later this lady asked my hubby if he is Chris and says we were waiting for you to come to the second floor. People please get it together before you take my hubby back for surgey. Once we get to his room everything went okay. He is doing great! And is home.
Katie Grace waited all day for her day to come home. She kept watching the front door waiting for him to come home. She made him a get well card while she waited it was so cute. That's by boring day. I did get a nap in since I had to get up at 3:30 am. Have a great weekend!!

The BIG day is tomorrow!

So tomorrow is the hubby's surgey. I can't believe he hasn't complained once. I certainly would be! We have to be at the hospital at 5:00 in the morning. YUK! The one good thing the inlaws are here so I don't have to get up and take him that early. I would if I had too though. I will stay behind with Katie Grace an get some more cleaning done. Today was beautiful outside. I took down the Christmas lights finally. And Katie Grace was able to play outside with friends for along time. We also made Valentine's for the neighbors. Mr. Jim makes me cry everytime I talk to him. He reminds me of my dad so much. Love you daddy!! I gotta go take a long hot bath and get ready for another day!! Thanks for listening.

Still learning!

So I'm still learning everything to do here. I'm the worst writer there is. So please bare with me. I have learned how to follow blogs I think. Anyhow! So today was my hubby's doctor appointment. He's surgey is scheduled for Saturday. We aren't sure when yet. The doctor is on call and is trying to get Chris scheduled. So! He will have to a metal plate and alot of screws. The ankle is pretty tore up. Kinda just hang there. YUK! YUK!YUK! Today, Katie Grace and I went to Walmart. She was very good. She is very disappointed that she has to share the tv during the day with daddy now. But she's been very good about going to her room and watching tv. She stayed with The Timmon's while I took the hubby to his doctor appointment. She was a very good girl. Like I said please bare with me. I will get better at this thing.

Hubby makes it home safely!

So I didn't hear from my hubby until around 12:30. Katie Grace and I were at Subway having lunch after open gym. Anyhow! He says he is almost to Harrisburg, PA. I said what? He says I drove myself home. I was so happy to hear that he would be home soon. But hoping he was not in any pain. He is a trooper. He hasn't complained once. The only thing I have heard is Im going to miss the gym so much. I don't want to get fat. We have a doctors appointment tomorrow and we will see when his surgey will be. His mom who is a nurse says he will probably have 5 screws and plate in his ankle.YIKES! Okay, so I m going to move on to Ms Katie Grace. After, Katie Grace got out of the shower she wanted to play salon. Mommy you be Natalie (which is my good friend who cuts our hair back home in Parkersburg) and I ll still be Katie Grace Woodford. It's never Katie Grace its always Katie Grace Woodford. So I brush and dry her hair. And I tell her she's all done. She says to me no you are not you didn't spray my hair. I said with what. Her responds was "with that stinky stuff that make me cough". Which is Static Cling!! So I sprayed her hair and she went to the mirror and says I m so beautiful!! And I said yes you are. At open gym she had a good time so many playmates Brianna, Tommy, Aiden, Anthony, Madison and Kiera. She didn't know who to play with. When daddy got home she was so happy to see him. She helps him get his crutches and I even saw her fluff his pillow. ; ) She's a great little helper. She went upstairs after dinner to watch tv and when I went to check on her she was all snug in bed fast asleep. So she was out at 7:00 along with daddy fast asleep on the couch. SO all the laundry is away and the ironing is done. And I even got to take a bath, read a book and now I'm watching LOST and blogging! But on a sad note. My neighbor Jim got out of the hospital today. He came over to see Chris and let us know that he does have lung cancer. It hits so close to home for me. IT makes me cry thinking about it now. Our prayers our with him. Keep your chin up Jim! We love you!

Today! Well let me put it this way. "You didn't? You are lying? Do you swear on Katie's life? His answer is. Yes I m telling you the trust I have broke my ankle and I have to have surgey. And Im in a hospital in Elkins,WV (which is 4to5 hours away from our house)! So what I m trying to say is my hubby has fallen and he's not getting up for awhile. He will be going to his parents house tomorrow and then someone will bring him home when they can. My hubby is not someone who like to lay or sit around. He has to be going somewhere or doing something. It is not going to be fun for him or me. Yikes!

So anyhow! Katie's friend Brianna and Tommy came over for a playdate. They had a good time. We went to Walmart with them and then came home and got the dreadful call from Daddy!!! Poor Daddy! We love u!! XOXO

Snow Day Finally

So it finally snowed today. Of course, the hubby went to Snow Shoe on a ski trip to get his snow and has alot I must say. Katie Grace , Tess and myself went to open gym today . Tess drove because it was snowing and I don't do snow. I m terrified to drive in the snow. I can do anything else in life but that. YIKES! Anyways, we were going to go see Hotel for Dogs but Katie Grace decided she would rather play in the snow with Sarah, Brianna, and Tommy Timmons. My prayers are with my neighbor Jim. I sure hope hs test results come back negative. My prayers are with you guys! Anyhow. Here is a few pics from our first snow day.

Mommy to Katie Grace

I am currently a sahm to Katie Grace. A very energetic 3 year old. She has a great personalty. (Kinda like her mom!) So quick to respond about the little things. Her favorite quote right now is OH STOP IT! It's so cute when she says it. I've been married to my hubby for 5 years now together for 7. He's a great father and hubby wouldn't trade him for anything. I have a stepson Cory who is 12 years old. He comes to visit us on breaks from school and summer vacation. He's a good kid (thank goodness). We have live in Martinsburg,WV for 5 years now. I consider Parkersburg, WV home though. All of our family is there! Katie Grace is my life right now. I love being home with her.
