The day went like this

This morning I was up at 6:00 am normally I roll out of bed at 9:00 or 10:00. But Cory started school today so I got up with Chris to see them out the door. While they are getting ready they wake Katie up. Who we found half under her bed this morning asleep. Sometime in the middle of the night she ended up there. Who knows? So Katie is up at 6:30. Cory and Chris get out the door with out to many fights. Then the neighbor asked me to watch her two youngest while she takes the oldest to school to meet the teacher this morning. Okay I said (what was I thinking). All of them fought the entire morning over nothing I was ready to scream by 9:00. After they left Katie and I watch some tv and hung out on the couch together. At 10:30 Katie looks at me and says can we just go take a nap. No problem here!! She slept until 3:00 when I woke her up. (I only slept until 1:00). I got nothing accomplished today. When Cory came home he was tired and hungry and a bear to be around. Thank goodness his dad was home early today. While the hubby was at the gym I cooked dinner until I took the tip off my right index finger and had to go to urgent care for them to stop the bleeding ( and also have it cauterized basically the burnt the end of my fingers to stop the bleeding because there was nothing to stitch). I bleed through a entire wash cloth and my right hand hurts so bad I want to cry. Thank goodness for my neighbor who finished dinner for me, cleaned up after dinner, and watch Katie for us while Chris took Cory to his first football game. Oh yeah! When Katie got up from her nap I also sliced my thumb on the left hand with the apple corer. That should have been my first sign not to pick up a knife or a slicer the rest of the evening. And just ordered take out........ So here I am waiting on Cory and Chris to get home from the football game at 9:15 at night. Poor Cory will be dragging butt tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow is better than today.

Katie's is 4 today!

After 31 hours of labor Katie Grace arrived four years ago.It was a long day but worth every minute of it. It's been pretty low keyed today. We went to IHOP for breakfast with my mom, sister, brother in law, and two of my cousins. That was Katie's choice out. She loves pancakes. My family hit the road to their homes this morning.Last night we had a little surprised birthday party. Katie kept saying the whole time. I can't believe it's my birthday today. She has grown up so much and never a dull moment when Katie is around. Happy Birthday to my Kate Kate!!

We made it to the outer banks it was suppose to be a 6 hour trip but with stop and go traffic it turned into 10 hour trip. Katie was a trooper never complained once. The weather is very hot the temp is in the high 90 but feels like 100. Trust me it does. We are off to a lighthouse. I'm not sure if I will go up in the lighthouse. The steps are very narrow and just not sure if I want to climb them. I'm outta here for now.......

I am OVERWHELMED!

I am officially overwhelmed. I have so much on my plate I can't keep up. Katie and I are leaving for the beach on Saturday morning. SO I have all the packing for that trip. The weather shows rain a lot of the days so I have to pack stuff to entertain Katie. ERR! And all the other stuff that a toddler requires along with me. Chris and Cory are leaving for Ohio on Thursday night. I have to get all the clothes washed and ready for them to leave for four days.Also have groceries in the house that Cory and Chris can eat since I won't be home to cook. On top of this I am trying to make room for Cory's stuff. When they go home they are bringing all of his stuff home that his mom has left at Chris' parents house. Chris has a lawyer appointment Friday morning at 10:00 am to make the paperwork final. So it will be official on Friday morning that Cory lives with us. Yeah! I have signed him up for school here, all his shots are done, physical for football, and I have started the school shopping also. I have Katie's birthday to worry about also. Katie starts school on September 9th so I have to get her some school clothes as well. I hope to do this at the beach. I also have to get the basement organized so we can get someone to finish it. Then get the baby's room started. I also need to clean my house.............. so I m outta here to finish some of that tonight. Thanks for listening. Just overwhelmed here!!!!
