The results are in!!

I am pregnant ( for those who didn't already know) and my official due date is........ December 29, 2009. I went to the doctor in Frederick today for a genetic counseling (because I am over 35 years old). The counselor says the possiability of a genetic disorder is very slim. I will know my official results a week from now. The heartbeat today was around 158. Katie Grace was much faster than this so it could be a BOY! We will see.

We officially told Cory and Katie Grace while sitting around the camp fire on Saturday. It went kinda like this. My hubby says "Well after this it won't be four of us sitting around the camp fire it will be FIVE!" Cory gets a smile from ear to ear and the first thing out of his mouth is. GOD, I hope it is a boy. Please let it be a boy!! Katie Grace still doesn't understand it. Even after seeing the ultrasound pic today. But she will soon. Cory signed up for Football for the school year here!He is telling his mom that he still wants to come live with us this week when he goes home. So the finger crossed is working.

Father's Day Camping Trip

Friday night we headed out to Rocky Gap State Park for camping. We arrived there around five got the tent setup and everything out of the truck. We just basically sat around the camp fire and then hit the sack that evening. Around 3:00 in the morning a thunderstorm rolled into the mountains and rocked the tent. I was a little nervous because we were sleeping on metal cots in a tent. But I just put my earplugs in and prayed to God that we were safe. The next morning it rained a tiny bit. Then off to the beach where Katie Grace and I hung out until the next rain storm blew threw. Everytime the hubby lit a fire it rained. But we still had a good time. The park is such a beautiful place if you ever get a chance take time to camp there. There's a lot of trails for bikes and walking, a beach area, boat rentals, game room for the kiddos, camping store if you forget something, and play areas for the kids also. I hope everyone had a awesome father's day.

Not too much going on here!

Except for some cleaning and family time. I crawled out of bed by nine this morning before the kids started moving. I was able to clean all the floors and some much needed odds and ends. The hubby finished trimming the yard and then we where off to look at some houses. We really didn't see much out there that we liked today. We had to make a pit stop at one of my favorite restaurant FIVE GUYS. I love them. I love french fries with vinegar all over them. And they have the best in my opinion. YUM YUM YUM!! We made it home just in time for the boys to leave again and go hang out with some friends in Charles Town. So Katie Grace and I went to the pool for a couple of hours, came home and now we are hanging out on the couch. Tomorrow is June Julibee at War Memorial. It says free admission and $5 for the kiddos to play on the bounces things. I think also a puppet show and train ride in the park. I think we might try it. There's also a Classic Car Show for the boys to check out. Maybe we will see some of our friends there. Hope you are having a great weekend.......... to be continued......

Do you know where your kids are?

It's 10:02 in the morning and both of mine are still asleep. I should have my whole house clean by now but I didn't wake up until 9:45. And that is only because my hubby called and woke me up. He thought maybe he missed my call cause he wasn't at his desk. Yeah right! He was just jealous. But it was still nice to sleep that long. My house is a disaster. I haven't even unpacked everything from my first trip to Ohio now I have to unpack from this one. Clothes are everywhere!! I hate putting laundry away. I don't mind washing, drying, or folding (or even ironing!). I just don't like putting it away. I still have to go to the grocery store and Sam's. We have nothing to eat here except Macaroni and Cheese. I am so behind. I hate it because I just want to hang out at the pool. We had a busy day yesterday. We went to open gym, dropped the dog off at the spa, the pool, and Katie Grace and I went to LeeAnn's house for a end of the school year party. I think I was the first to poop out on everyone. I couldn't take the heat anymore. WIMP!! I am!! Then we came home and Katie Grace rode her bike with her little friends across the street. Cory says he still wants to go to school here so I am trying my best to do stuff with him and do stuff he likes. Fingers crossed!!!

Home Sweet Home

I am so glad to be home. I was ready to come home. I like being with family. But it rained everyday but 2 so we were stuck inside with nothing to do. We saw the movies Night at the Museum and UP. I didn't care for UP it was pretty boring. And I thought the first Night at the Museum was much better. I am officially a mini van owner. I love the room we have. It was so nice to have the room coming home yesterday with the kids and the dog. I am so ready to go to the pool. I need some sun on these legs. Cory is here for the summer and hopefully for the school year. He still says he wants too!! Katie Grace is glad her "BUBBY" is here. My little sister lost her baby this week. I feel so bad for her. I hope she tries again in a year or two. She's not sure if it was a tubal pregnancy or just a miscarriage. She will find out on Tuesday. My sister in law and niece have moved 7 hours away from us. So we won't get to see them as much when we go home. It's kind of a bummer. Katie Grace loves her Tay Tay (my niece). That's about all that is happening with us. Hope everyone has a great week.
