A very busy week ahead!

This week will be very busy for us. It started yesterday actually with grocery shopping, a great birthday party that we had fun at and some house cleaning. (Thanks, Staci for the invite) Today, Katie Grace has preschool. At preschool they will have a Easter party so she's very excited about that and that daddy is taking her too! Daddy is still very sick keeping the whole house awake. When he's not coughing he's snoring. ERR!! I will finish some Easter shopping that I thought was done with but I forgot a couple of things. Tuesday I will finish getting the house ready for our company. Things like washing sheets, cleaning the bathrooms, and the kitchen is ready to go. My sister in law is coming. She's the only one who will eat seafood with me. So the menu is all seafood Friday night with Sangria. Crab cakes! Bacon wrapped shrimp and scallops! I can not wait!! If you have any great seafood recipes let me know. We love trying new ones! Wednesday is open gym, a Easter party for the mom's group in the neighborhood, and my husband wants me to run some errands for him. Thursday my sister in law and niece will be here until Sunday. So from Thursday on who knows what we will get into. Eating, Shopping, and some great company!!

A very productive eek!

It was a very productive week for me! I accomplished a lot. I hope to continue thru out the weekend. I was able to clean out old papers that are no longer needed. I got all Easter items bought for all the parties and kids I had to buy for. The eggs are filled and ready to go for the four Easter egg hunts that Katie Grace is invited to. I just hope the weather is nice for the next couple of weeks. I'm excited about Easter this year because Katie Grace understands it more. And also my mom, sister and brother in law are coming to my house for Easter. They have never been to my house for any holidays. YEAH! I have company for the next two weekends. And then I'm home for the next one. I really could use a mommy night out even if its just dinner...... Hint hint!! All the sheets are washed and the beds are made. All the laundry is done and put away. I cleaned some of the basement I still have a lot more to go. I did all my grocery shopping for the next few days. Katie Grace and I went to the mall. We bought our Easter cards and mailed all of our mail. So we are done. Sunday is nothing but relax day for all of us. The hubby is under the weather right now. It is 8:30 and he's already asleep. Poor daddy o! He hasn't had a day off for three weeks and I think it has caught up with him. : ( Hopefully, Katie Grace or myself don't get it back.... I have the cutest pic of Katie Grace to post but I can't find my cord for my camera. So I will get it up when I find it. Take care everyone and have a great weekend!

Spring Swap!

OUTSIDE!

We were outside from 11:00am until 7:00 pm. Katie Grace played with her friends Madison, Anthony, and Aiden for about 2 hours. While us mommies played some UNO out on my deck.(that game will continue tomorrow we didn't finish it) It was so nice. After they left Katie Grace played with her friends Tommy and Brianna. We were in the house no more than a half hour today. We ran to Big Lots to get some dental floss for our plastic eggs to hang out on our tree (if you are curious all you have to do is tie a knot in one end of the floss and close it inside the egg they never fall off the tree this way). And if anyone needs eggs Big Lots have little and big ones for a 1.40 per pack. So we hung them on the tree outside. Then we took a walk around the neighborhood. Then played outside some more with our friends Brianna and Tommy. Katie Grace actually got her face sun burnt today. (always put sunscreen on duh!) We are just now eating dinner. Which Katie Grace chose cereal!!! That's fine with me. No cooking for me tonight. I wish the weather would just stay this way but tomorrow it is suppose to rain. : (

It's Monday!

I was very productive today. I could have slept past 10 today but my father in law decide he would call the house at 9:30. Katie Grace did sleep until 10 so I was able to get my shower done while she slept. I feed her some breakfast which was actually Spaghetti Os. That's what she wanted and she did eat them so. So be it. After that it was off to Comcast to exchange the remote to our dvr box it didn't work all weekend. SO I missed Big Love last night. But luckily it is on demand. YEAH! Then off to the DMV the dreaded DMV. I was for sure I would be sent home without a renewal but the lady didn't even look at my insurance card that expired in Aug 2008. So out the door I went with my renewal for this year. YEAH! For those of you who don't know I worked at the DMV in Ohio. It was the WORST job I ever had and I worked for my ex mother in law to top that. I got cussed out everyday and threaten on lots of occasions. IT was awful. Then we went to Foodlion to cash in our coupons that I printed from online. Walmart doesn't take them. LOSERS! I saved 18.00 there. Wohooo! Stopped at 7 11 to get some lottery tickets for game my mother in law sent me. Katie Grace and I dropped off the groceries from Foodlion and then off to preschool. Let just say Katie Grace was screaming when I left her there. I could hear her all the way down the hall. Ms April said she was fine after I left. And she was all excited when she got home about Show and Tell next week. It will be her turn. Any ideas for Show & Tell? Help!! While Katie Grace was at preschool I went to Walgreens to use some more coupons. My total would have been 12.36. But ended up being 3.37. I'm learning Sara! Then I picked up Katie Grace from preschool and we stopped at Kmart for laundry detergent. While checking out at the register this man fell down a few registers ahead of me. I told my cashier that a man just fell down. She looks over her shoulder and back at me and said oh someone will help him. The manager was in line behind me (he was buying a drink or something) the girl could have told him but not until another coworker says hey Bob this man just fell and can't get up. He walks over to him and says do you need me to call you a ambulance. No one offered to help this man help or anything. He was a very large man but still. What has happen to the world? There was a man outside the doors filling the vending machines and I asked him if he could help get him up and he did. BUT STILL!!!!! Hope everyone has a great week.

Saturday!

Saturday I accomplished so much even though I was able to sleep until 11:00. I always hate sleeping late because I don't get everything done that I want to. But yesterday I did and more. First, I received a phone call from my sister in law saying she got a ring on Friday night. Congratulations to Beth and Brian! Now I just have to continue to lose weight before this big wedding! I then went with my friend Sara (visit her blog at Saving with Sara) to Walgreen's and I got so much stuff I mean SO much Stuff. I got two fun birthday presents for kids and 3 packs of diapers for a baby shower gift. And lunch for Katie Grace and I for the whole week coming up. (3 tubes of toothpaste and markers) I saved $44.82. I am returning today for a couple other things that was in the paper so wish me luck for more savings. Now on to my Saturday. Katie Grace was very good and I mean very good. I don't know what happen there. My husband fixed breakfast and even cleaned up the kitchen after he was done. I cleaned out my car, cleaned house and finished all but one load of laundry. I was still feeling little out of sorts from my migraine yesterday so my hubby took me to dinner too! No dishes for me at all yesterday. Wohoo! I hope everyone else's weekend is super like mine has been!!

Can you say MIGRAINE!

I'm still trying to bounce back from the worst migraine I have ever had. Staci dropped Katie & I off at home around 11:30am about noon I was throwing up, blurry vision, and my head hurt so bad I was crying.I guess I'm lucky we didn't go to the Water Park today. Thank Goodness Katie Grace took a nap for four hours or I don't know what I would have done. I think I threw up about seven times. All I know is I have nothing left in my stomach to throw up. At five o'clock when my neighbor came home I had to call her and have her fix Katie something for dinner. Thank you Tess! (The hubby was working days 7-7) The smell of food made me throw up. I'm still feel very yucky and hopefully will feel better in the morning. I have a mommy night out tomorrow and I can't miss another one. Wish me luck!

After we arrived at the condo we found out that the water park wasn't open on Tuesday & Wednesday. The resort didn't inform us that the days we booked our Water Park Special that we wouldn't be able to use it. They did give us our money back for the tickets. So we did the Children's Museum and the kids were happy with that.

Even though we didn't get to go to the Water park. WE still had a good time.

Katie Grace

Yesterday, was a rough day for Katie Grace. She whined all morning saying she didn't want to go to school. "I don't feel good Mommy" is what I heard all morning. I tried to take her anyhow getting her ready for school was tough. But I finally got her in the car. By the time, we arrived at school she was almost a sleep. She cried the minute I took her into the church. She wouldn't let me leave, she wouldn't let me help her with her project she wanted nothing to do with it. She was crying so hard and was ready to vomit everywhere. I just gave in and brought her home with me. As soon as I put her in the car she was a sleep. I carried her in the house she ate some lunch and then she was back to sleep for 3 hours. She went to bed at nine and got up at 9:15. I think the trip to Ohio just wore her out. I feel so bad. Today we are leaving with Staci and Sara to go to a indoor water park for a couple of days so she's not going to get any rest in the next couple of days either. Oh and we lost a hour of sleep with Spring Forward. I just hope she caught up on most of it yesterday and last night. Wish me luck!

My Grandma!

My grandma is the same today. She thinks that I' m my sister every time I go in to see her. The first thing she said to me was are you going home today (to Martinsburg).So I thought she knew I was me. I said no I m not leaving for a couple of days. The next thing out of her mouth was you better hurry and get to work (my sister) you don't won't to be late. Then she says last night the guys from Orlando(she lives in Florida some of the time) came in to see me. I said oh yeah! "She said yes they were playing their music and dancing out there in the hall away having a great time. I think one of them overdosed I heard. They were smoking and just having a good old time. They brought everyone dinner but I couldn't eat it them damn nurses took mine away from me (she only on a liquid diet)." Also the fireman won't stay up in the ceiling they keep using the hole in her ceiling ( no hole mind u) to leave when theres a fire. Poor grandma. And the guy who keeps standing behind her and won't leave her alone. (Please leave she doesn't like someone looking over her shoulder. LOL!! ) The pain medicine is really kicking her butt. I remember when my dad was like this you just don't know what to say to them. I just agree and leave it alone. Thank you for your prayers. Hope everyone is staying warm!!!

It's March! It's not suppose to be -2 degrees!!!!

It is so cold here in Ohio. With the wind chill and all it is a minus 2 degrees. Of course, I never have to go out in the mornings so I never think much about the weather at 6:30 in the morning. But this week I have to take my stepson to school. At least, it's not snowing. My hubby said that we had snow at home in Martinsburg so I guess I'm lucky in that area. It's been pretty quiet around here. I' ve been stuck in the house for the weekend because Katie Grace is sick. My grandma had surgery on Friday. They removed the right side of her colon because of bleeding. She's not doing so good so please keep her in your prayers. She's a strong person and been through a lot but she is getting very week. She's 88 years old and still understands everything. I only hope I will see 88 years old and be has sharp as her. It's off to warm up the car. And get everyone ready to get out the door. Hope everyone has a great weak.
